Free Sky Tour hosted by Astronomer Phil Ostroff and Lampasas County Friends of the Night Sky. Astronomers will be on hand with their equipment to teach you about the night sky. You are welcome to bring your own telescopes, binoculars, cameras, etc. and learn how to get the best out of your equipment. The event will be cancelled in case of inclement weather or a heavy cloud forecast. Lampasas County Friends of the Night Sky is a program of Vision Lampasas. |

The Stars At Night
The whole family is invited to a night of stargazing and fun with the experts, on March 7, 2026! This starry event is put on by our own Friends Of The Night Sky! Activities include children's activities, information tables, night sky demos, panel discussions, food vendors, and the big event: stargazing with professional telescopes. No admission fee. Rain or Shine. 5-9pm at the pavilion at Campbell Park, 501 E North Avenue, Lampasas, Tx.
